Welcome to the Carol Jean, the ideal in vacation cabin lodging!

As you walk into the Carol Jean your first impression will be a mixture of authenticity, quality, and luxury. The Carol Jean has its roots going back a hundred years as the first improvement upon the homestead. What later fell into disrepair as a wood shed and machine shop, has meticulously been restored not to its former glory, but well beyond what was first imagined by its original builders.

The first floor contains one king size bed, dining area, kitchenette, and full bath. The bathroom has a walk in shower with glass doors. We stock each of our bathrooms with bath linens, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The kitchenette consists of a bar sink, induction hot plate, drip coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. The kitchenette includes pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, dishes, and drinking glasses. We also stock basic spices and a limited amount of coffee and filters.

A small loft with two twin beds looks down into the main living area.

We have access to free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, a ceiling fan, and outdoor dining facilities with access to a barbecue grill. There is no cable TV in any of our cabins, but we do provide a 32″ Roku Smart TV. We use Starlink satellite internet for our Wi-Fi.

Minimum age for children is three years old. There is access to a swing set and other outdoor equipment for children, including a large meadow on the property.

$215/Night (3 Night Minimum Reservation), plus a $40 cleaning fee per stay.
