Calamity Jane Cabin

The Calamity Jane is a true historic log cabin built pre-1890.  It was used at various times for: stage coach travelers, a guest house, and to house the school teacher for the nearby mining town of Spokane. Its authenticity has kept alive the spirit of its age, bringing its visitors back to a more simple and romantic age of mankind. A hand stacked rock fireplace, (historical and therefore non-functioning), is the central feature of this genuine historic log building.

The Calamity Jane Cabin has an East / South facing outdoor deck for dining or relaxing, with a propane grill. (We supply the propane.) This cozy cabin sleeps up to three with a comfortable king bed and a twin bed. There is a table and chairs for nightly card games. It has been maintained and upgraded to include a small walk in shower, toilet, and kitchenette. The kitchen is equipped with a small table with two chairs, sink, mini refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker, induction hot plate, toaster, and basic cooking / grilling utensils. The kitchen is also stocked with dishes, drinking glasses, basic spices, and a limited amount of coffee and filters. We have access to free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and heat. AC and heat are supplied through a mini split installed in the main part of the cabin. There is no cable TV in any of our cabins, but we do provide a 32″ Roku Smart TV. We use Starlink satellite internet for our Wi-Fi.

Minimum age requirement for children is three years old.
